Old School Shooting Style- Lying Back Position

Popular from the mid to late 1800’s this shooting postion was used in long range (1,000 yard) competitions. The shooter simply lied on his back, crossed his legs, and rested the barrel of the rifle on their boots. This position was especially popular with bearded competitors since it prevented grass, mud, and crud from getting in their whiskers.
